Malabrigo Ultimate Sock yarn for a Celtic Cable shawl

My gifted sister Louise knitted a gorgeous shawl for me from this yarn using the Ishneich Shawl pattern by Lucy Hague (Celtic Cable Shawls collection). Because it's a lightweight yarn, the shawl is lightweight on my body yet keeps my shoulders and back warm. I can also wear it draped around my neck so it's versatile that way as well. I am pleased with this yarn and I will treasure the shawl made from it.
