Studio Donegal Darnie – 100% Lambswool Fingering Yarn
Darnie is Studio Donegal’s 4-ply fingering weight yarn, spun from 100% lambswool in the small village of Kilcar, County Donegal, Ireland. Lambswool — shorn from young sheep at their first shearing — is exceptionally fine and soft, with a natural elasticity that makes it a pleasure to knit and a joy to wear. Available in a beautiful palette of 14 colors, Darnie is a versatile sock and fingering weight that works equally well for socks, shawls, and lightweight garments.
Like all Studio Donegal yarns, Darnie carries the heritage of Irish craft in every hank — made by hand in a region with centuries of textile tradition.

About the Yarn
Darnie is Studio Donegal’s 4-ply fingering weight yarn, spun from 100% lambswool in Kilcar, County Donegal, Ireland. Lambswool — from a sheep’s first shearing — is exceptionally fine and soft, with a natural elasticity that makes it a pleasure to knit and a joy to wear.
The Benefits
The natural elasticity of lambswool gives great stitch definition and bounce, making it ideal for textured patterns and colorwork. Soft enough for next-to-skin wear, durable enough for everyday socks.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS
I arrived hoping for a quick grab of red yarn for the pattern going around in support of MN and others. The stock was low, as it is everywhere; this project is spreading like wildfire! An employee found a skein that was around a corner and it was perfect. The owner then wound all three of my skeins. Very gratefuln
I just made a simple little neck warmer... very cute and easy and much loved !
