Our Fix It class is designed to help you learn with confidence in a warm, welcoming environment. It is taught by an inspiring and knowledgeable instructor and limited to just six students, so you receive plenty of personal attention and support. You’ll learn new skills, ask questions, and connect with fellow makers while working on projects you’ll be proud of. The support doesn’t stop when class ends—the Apple Yarns team is always here during open hours to answer questions and help you keep moving forward with your project.
🧶Who this class is for - anyone who knows how to cast-on, knit, and purl in the round and wants to learn how to fix their knitting when there's a problem.

Tips and tricks
Classes start on time; have your ribbing done.
Bring to Class
- Knit up 2 - 4" squares in worsted weight; one in garter stitch and one in stockingnette stitch. Please keep them on the needles. Tip: Knit your samples in light colored, non-fuzzy yarn
- Size F or G crochet hook
- Size US 7 or 8 double-point needles
- Scissors
- Sweater Strings - not required but helpful
- Handi-Tool - not required but helpful

What to expect in a class at Apple Yarns.
We want both students and teachers to enjoy a positive and fun experience. Our classes are small, just six students, and everyone gets personalized attention. Our entire team is here to support you every step of your learning journey. Feel free to stop by during open hours if you need any help!
In-shop class policies
• Supplies are separate from class fees unless noted. Students receive a 10% discount card with their registration for in-store purchases. It expires at the end of the last class.
• Please do not reference other online resources during class unless guided by the instructor.
• Minimum age for class is 14.
• If you need to cancel your class registration, we are happy to offer a shop credit refund for cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot offer shop credit refunds for cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice. Cancel by emailing shop@appleyarns.com to ensure it is properly time-stamped.
• If students miss one session of a multi-session class, they can schedule a private lesson with their instructor for an additional fee.
• While we love when friends and family visit Apple Yarns, only paying students are allowed in the classroom for everyone’s enjoyment.
• Private lessons can be rescheduled once without an additional fee when given 24 hours' notice. Cancel by emailing shop@appleyarns.com to ensure it is properly time-stamped. Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance will receive shop credit for the prior payment. No refunds for classes cancelled within 24 hours.
