Texture Play

This fall is about tactile stitches. Think cables, bobbles, brioche, puff stitches, and Tunisian crochet textures that make you want to reach out and touch.

Modern Granny Squares & Geometric Motifs and Multi-Craft Technique Projects

The humble granny square has had a glow-up! Designers are reimagining them with unexpected shapes (hexagons, florals, geometric patterns) and contemporary color palettes. Check out Jethro by Tanis Lavallee in Loveful (this yarn is also trending, see sustainability below).

From leg warmers to water bottle holders, functional is fashionable.

Color: Earthy Meets Bold

This year’s fall palette is a beautiful balance: think chocolate brown, pumpkin orange, and mustard yellow paired with bold pops of royal purple, chili-flake red, or grass green.

Sustainability & Upcycling

Slow fashion is here to stay, and fiber artists are embracing it in style. Eco-friendly yarns (like hemp, bamboo, organic cotton, and recycled fibers) are everywhere. Our favorite recycled yarn is Loveful by Sirdar, it has great stitch definition and a tweedy look.
