Choose your needle size

Each option in this listing is a 16-inch circular. The US size identifies needle thickness, not length. Select the size required by your pattern, check the selected option for availability, and knit a gauge swatch with your chosen yarn before starting.

For knitting in the round, make sure the circular length suits the circumference you are making. A hat pattern may use a 16-inch circular for the body and require a different needle arrangement as you decrease the crown. Follow your pattern rather than assuming one circular will handle every stage.
