We love KnittedKnockers.org on so many levels. The number one reason is the volunteers. It is because of them that +/- 12,000 hand-knit or crochet breast protheses go out every month. Those breast protheses are the ones that travel through KnittedKnockers and Apple Yarns. I can only imagine how many there would be if the amount included those made directly for family and friends (WOW). Did you know that not all the volunteers are knitter's or crocheter's? There are volunteers for every task; volunteers that open mail, write thank you notes, take things to the post office and many, many more.
