Begin your retreat with an event dinner at Apple Yarns on Wednesday, October 15th. This is a fun way to meet your fellow travelers.

Your holiday starts as we leave the Apple Yarns parking lot at 3:30 p.m. on October 16th. We’ll travel on a luxury bus to Everett Station. The Amtrak Empire Builder departs Everett, WA, at 5:55 pm and arrives in Whitefish, MT, at approximately 7:15 am the next day. The Firebrand Hotel will transfer your bags and will try to have rooms ready, though this isn’t guaranteed. The hotel is a short walk from the Whitefish Depot.

On October 19th, we will board the train at 10:00pm and arrive in Everett at 10:45am on October 20th. Our deluxe coach will take us back to Bellingham, arriving at about 12:00pm.

Travel by Amtrak

• Coach (included in your price) - Coach class features wide, reclining seats with ample legroom, no middle seat option and at-seat trays, reading lights and electric outlets. Restrooms are located in each car. There is a cafe for food purchases.  You are welcome to bring food and drink on board to enjoy at your seat.

There is limited availability of Roomettes and Bedrooms. Make a deposit and call Andrew (360)-756-9992.  We will fill these by order of deposit. These prices change due to availability.

• Roomettes (approximately $400 upgrade per person). Equipped with a landscape window in every room. Each room has two comfy seats, two beds, outlets and a fold-down table, shared bathroom. The dimensions of each roomette are  3’6’ X 6’6 and  have room for two adults. Dining car meals included. SOLD OUT
• Bedrooms (approximately $1,000 upgrade per person). Each bedroom has the capacity of two adults (with an option for a third), one to two suitcases and 6’6” x 7’6”. Unlike roomettes, bedrooms also have an in-room toilet, shower and a sofa that converts to a bed. Dining car meals included. SOLD OUT

Money Details

• $500.00 deposit per person is due at the time of order; $100 nonrefundable fee.
• If you want to upgrade to a  Roomette and Bedroom on the train your balance is due May 25th.
• Payment in full for Coach seating is due May 30. 
• No refunds or changes to seating options will be allowed after July 15, 2025. Your trip is transferable and we will keep a waitlist of those interested. If we can fill your spot, you will receive a full refund minus the $100.00 fee.
• If you do not need bus transportation to Everett Station, use code "NoBus" and save $100.00 off the total amount.  If you are paying the full amount use code "NoBus" at checkout. If you are paying by deposit, we will take off the $100 at the final payment; let us know in the notes section at checkout that you do not need transportation.
• This holiday adventure travels rain or shine, no refunds are given for bad weather.
