Winter Holiday Hat Knitting Kit - design by Nancy Bates

Nancy Bates, knitwear designer and author of Knitting the National Parks has done it again!

Winter Holiday Hat - This hat is part of Nancy Bates’s Seasonal Collection. The kit includes plenty of yarn for the Beanie version - you may need more if you intend to knit the stocking cap.  This pattern is not in Knitting the National Parks Book by Nancy Bates. The pattern is not included in the kit and can be purchased from Ravelry.

Size: One size fits an average adult-size head. (Approx. 19" - 22")

Kit includes: 5 colors of Malabrigo Rios (color 1 - 105 yds, Colors 2 - 5, 52 yds each), 6 stitch markers and clear project bag with handles

👉 The Kit does not include the pattern, needles, or Pompom; the pattern calls for US 5 x 16" (3.75mm) for the brim and US 7 x 16"(4.5mm) for the hat body and #7 DPN to finish. The pattern can be found on Ravelry, $5.00. The pattern is sized adult, 19" to 22". Needles can be found HERE.

About the yarn: We chose 5 colors in Malabrigo Rios to get the closest colors to match Nancy Bates's sample beanie. Rios is 100% superwash merino. This hat, with full skeins of yarn and notions would be $97.44.
