Welcome to Fiber Friends in Bloom Retreat!

Join us for a relaxing weekend of yarn, friendship, and springtime beauty as we travel together to Victoria, BC — one of Canada’s most charming coastal cities. This retreat is all about slowing down, connecting with your fiber friends, and enjoying time to knit, crochet, and unwind. Highlights include a visit to the breathtaking Butchart Gardens, an optional visit to the Beehive Wool Shop, and a private trunk show and happy hour. We’ll stay at the lovely Parkside Hotel & Spa, surrounded by walkable shops and cafes, and travel in comfort aboard the BC Ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay. Your retreat includes round-trip transportation from Bellingham, a Welcome Dinner at Apple Yarns and special swag bag filled with yarny surprises. Spring in Victoria is magical — gardens bursting with color, ocean breezes, and plenty of cozy corners to knit or crochet the weekend away.

Your holiday starts as we leave the Apple Yarns parking lot, at 9 am on April 17th on a private bus headed to Tsawwassen BC (have your Passports ready) to get the Ferry to Vancouver Island.

• Purchase your ticket before 11/17/2025 to receive the early bird discount 
• Passports are required.
• We will be walking on the Ferry and you'll need to carry (roll) your own luggage.
• Breakfast voucher included on Saturday and Sunday, Cafe Fantastico.
• Transportation between the Four Points Sheraton and Apple Yarns is included for dinner and the bus.
• Lunch can be purchased on the Ferry.

• At Apple Yarns Retreats, there are no formal classes. We love spending our time creating and connecting with fellow Fiber Friends. One of our goals is to make new Fiber Friends and share wonderful knitting and crochet moments.

• Visit Beehive Wool Shop, Founded in 1906 - a 20-minute walk from the hotel

• Tea at the Empress - 10-minute walk from the hotel

Money Details

• Purchase your ticket before 11/17/2025 to receive the early bird discount 
• $500.00 deposit per person is due at the time of order; $100 nonrefundable fee.
• Balance due on February 15th
• 100% refund if you cancel before January 15, 2026, minus the $100 fee
• 50% refund if you cancel between January 16 and February 15th, minus the $100 fee.
• 25% refund if you cancel between February 16 and February 28th, minus the $100 fee.
• *Your trip is transferable and we will keep a waitlist of those interested. If we can fill your spot you will receive a full refund minus the $100.00 fee
• This holiday adventure travels rain or shine, no refunds are given for bad weather.
