The Artus Shawl, designed by Natasja Hornby, is a stunning example of mosaic knitting. We've selected Lanas Light by Berroco for this kit. Lanas Light is soft, has a beautiful luster and is springy to knit. The beautiful mosaic border has a rich texture, and the colors create a tapestry-like effect. Construction: (from Ravelry) Artus is a triangular shawl that is worked top-down from the center out, starting with a classic Garter Tab Cast On. The shawl features narrow bands of 1x1 color created using the stranded technique. The eye-catching border of the shawl is worked using the mosaic technique, holding only one strand of yarn on every row.
As always, it is essential to manage gauge to ensure you will have enough yarn. If you are worried you can purchase an extra skein!
