Neck Down Hooded Tunic for Women KPS 244

A simple hoodie knitted from the top down in heavy worsted yarn at 16 sts to 4 inches. Sizes x-small to x-large.

"A fast-to-knit pullover hoodie for women, it can be knitted with hundreds of different yarns," says Soucy. "All ages seem to enjoy this one! Knit on circular and double point needles, part is knitted back and forth. Gauge is 16 sts to 4 inches with heavy worsted weight yarn, sizes x-small through xx-large." Here is a slightly more complex design than Soucy's usual simple fare, but everything makes beautiful sense as you work it. The only possible sewing is the hood seam (which you could graft or cast off together), and tacking down the cord casing that frames the face. Hood is picked up around the neckline after the body is finished and knitted up. Sporty, but somehow elegant too.
