It seemed appropriate to start working on an iconic Irish Fisherman Sweater in March! The Moby sweater gives you plenty of traditional touches. Lots of cables, mock cables and double moss stitch. In addition you'll learn a different type of top-down method, German short rows, and how to read a chart. As always, the first class will concentrate on fit! So...Purchase your yarn, pattern, and needles; make your gauge swatch in pattern, and bring a garment that fits exactly the way you want your sweater to fit.
What you should know: cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off.

Yarn: 1200 - 2000 yards (depending on size) worsted weight yarn (I suggest Ultra Wool, Rios semi-solid, or Woolstok Worsted)
Needles: 16", 24", & 32" or 40" circular US size 6/4mm, 32" circular US size 4/3.5mm, and 16" circular US size 2.5/3mm. DPNs US size 6/4mm and US size 4/3.5mm.
